  • Basic Beauty & Nail Course

    During this seven week course students will learn about nail care including, manicures and nail art, pedicures and foot care including treatments. Students will also learn about skincare and how to do a facial. Students will also learn about health and safety within the beauty industry. We will also have mini competitions i.e. nail art.

    At the ACE Centre, we enhance learning with activities like Lego, trains, football table and lots of games, fostering student interaction. Our approach blends play and education, promoting teamwork, creativity in a supportive environment. Learn how our curriculum nurtures academic and social growth, making learning fun and enjoyable for all.

  • Games & Social Club

    This will be a free play session where children will be able to choose their own activities including, Lego, train set, football table, arts & crafts and various other games. Children will be fully supervised throughout this session.

  • LEGO & PLAY CLUB AGE 5 to 8

    Lego club is an engaging and educational environment that helps children develop a variety of crucial skills in a safe and caring environment. PARENTS OF CHILDREN UNDER 8 YEARS OF AGE WILL NEED TO STAY ONSITE.

  • First Aid for Children (Age 11+)

    £15 per session, four session course Topic include: The roles and responsibilities of a first- aider assessing an emergency situation safely CPR and AED administering first aid to a choking casualty dealing with shock, burns, scalds, bleeds and minor injuries dealing with sudden poisoning or an anaphylaxis dealing with casualties with fractures, and spinal, head or chest injuries dealing with heart attacks, strokes and other major illness

  • Bicycle Enterprise Project

    Over this four week course students will acquire the skills required to fix and repair donated bicycles. At the end of the project the bicycles will be sold or donated to people needing a bicycle. Students can also keep a bicycle for themselves.

  • Woodwork

    PLEASE CONTACT THE CENTRE WHEN BOOKING YOUR FIRST WOODWORK SESSION. A class dedicated to teaching learners how to correctly use tools and develop their woodworking skills. Students are encouraged to design and create their own projects while working at their own pace. Workshop sessions will have two staff members present, with a maximum of four children in each session. All safety wear and materials are included in the session costs. Children can take their finished projects home.

  • Advanced Bicycle Maintenance & Repair

    In this session students will look more in depth at maintenance including replacing cables, bearings and chains and how to repair and maintain a bicycle to a good and roadworthy standard. Students can bring their own bicycle to work on.

  • Art & Crafting

    A fun class where children can take part in drawing, painting, graffiti art, pottery, sewing, knitting and other crafty things!! suitable for children aged 8 and up.

  • Functional Skills in Mathematics

    This maths course uses real-life examples to help you learn maths. The course covers: whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages, how to use common measures, shape and space, handling information and data, solving mathematical problems and decision making. This course is assessed with 1 online exam when we think students are ready to sit. Exam Fees will apply. Students can progress onto the level 2 course.

  • Intro to Hairdressing, Nails & Beauty

    Students will learn various hairdressing, nail care and beauty skills including shampooing and conditioning, blow drying and straightening hair. Learn how to plait and twist hair for special occasions. Manicures, nail care and nail art. Students will also learn about health and safety in a salon environment. We will also have mini competitions.

  • Bicycle Maintenance & Repair

    Basic bicycle maintenance and repair covering how to fix a puncture, check the chain, brakes and cables and adjust as required and general upkeep of your bicycle.
