The ACE centre currently works to support students that require a more practical programme of education in a small, nurturing environment. We do this by having small class sizes of between four and six students with a good staff to child ratio of 1:3 maximum. We offer a combination of academic and vocational activities including woodwork and crafts, health & safety and Functional maths and English Skills up to level 2.

We also offer a comprehensive personal and social development programme covering, health and wellbeing, sex & relationships, drugs and alcohol and managing money.

Students from year 7 to 11 can attend the centre up to five mornings per week, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 12.30pm. Students can be placed 'on and off' the programme to suit the referral agencies requirements. Short placements can also be offered subject to availability.

We can also offer a bespoke programme of activities for small groups of between four and six young people on a short or long term basis.

We require prospective students to visit the centre with a parent or guardian prior to a placement being offered to ensure we can meet the needs of the student. We also require a completed referral and consent/medical form prior to start date.
